Stockton Motorplex - July
5th:
Rocket Kart debut:
Absolutely phenomenal performance by Jason Kritikos (www.jasonkritikos.com)
and Scott Conway to display the Rocket-Parilla package in fine fashion
by dominating this competitive class all day long. Won the first heat,
did well in 2nd heat even after being driven off the track. Started
the main off-pole and jumped right out in front and never looked back.
"Right out of the box I felt we had a great kart and were right
on the pace. I felt the Rocket kart was very easy to fine tune and drive,
making it very fast on any track. We have tested at a couple of tracks
and were very fast at both I am convinced that this kart is one of the
best out there.", said Jason.
Team Results:
Carol Brown dominated the Rotax class winning both heats and the main
event. Vernon Head brings home 3rd in the same class. David Killion
brought home 5th in a large Novice 80 class. Trevor picks up some speed
and shows he will be a force in the Novice sportsman class in near future.
Kinsmen Kart Club (Dixon)
- July 6th:
Rocket Kart perfection:
Another perfect showing for Jason, Scott and the Rocket - Parilla combination.
Won both heats - and walked away with the main event by over 1/2 lap
on the 2nd place finisher.
Team Results:
Ashley Stranahan ran well but a pile-up in the hairpin sent her to the
sidelines early in the main event. Carol Brown has a great showing and
comes up just shy of another win in the very competitive Rotax class.
Vernon Head brings home 3rd in the same class. David Killion had the
kart to beat in the Novice 80 class but an unfortunate incident in the
main event relegated him to a meager 4th place finish. Killion did,
however, move up to 1st place in the points at Dixon Club.
